HOCL, Kochi Invites applications for the recruitment of Chemical, Fire & Safety Operators, Technician – 23 Posts

HOCL requires personnel for appointment on TEMPORARY BASIS for following posts at Ambalamugal, Ernakulam Dist., Kerala. 

1. Chemical Operator – 13 Posts 

2. Technician / Assistant Technician (Mechanical/Utilities) – 07 Posts 

3. Fire & Safety Operator – 03 Posts 

I. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS 

Chemical Operator

Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Diploma in Petrochemical Engineering / B.Sc.(Chemistry) / B.Sc.(Industrial Chemistry) / B.Sc.(Petrochemical). 

Technician (Mechanical) 

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 

Technician (Utilities) 

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering & 1st Class Boiler Attendant Certificate.

Assistant Technician (Mechanical) 

ITI / NCVT (Fitter). 

Assistant Technician (Utilities) 

ITI / NCVT (Fitter) & 1st Class Boiler Attendant Certificate. 

Fire & Safety Operator 

SSLC /SSC & Certificate in Fire Fighting. 

II. EXPERIENCE (For all posts) 

Minimum One Year experience in a Chemical / Petrochemical / Refinery Plant. 

Apprenticeship of one year duration in similar industry will be treated as equivalent to one year experience as above. 

III. AGE 

Maximum age will be 30 Years as on 30.09.2014 for all posts. 

(Relaxation of age to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-servicemen as per rules) 

IV. PAY 

Selected candidates will be paid all inclusive consolidated pay as follows. 

Chemical Operator : ` 15000/- per month 

Technician (Mechanical /Utilities) : ` 15000/- per month 

Assistant Technician (Mechanical /Utilities) : ` 12000/- per month 

Fire & Safety Operator : ` 12000/- per month

V. GENERAL 

1. Appointment will be purely on temporary basis for a fixed period of 179 days. The 

employment will automatically get terminated at the end of 179 days. The appointment 

will not confer any right on a candidate for any future employment in HOCL. 

2. Reservation of posts will be applicable as per rules. 

3. Only male candidates need to apply. 

4. The pay shown above is all inclusive consolidated pay and no other allowances will be 

payable. 

A WALK IN INTERVIEW will be held at our office at 09:30 Hours on 06.10.2014 for selection 

of candidates to the above posts.
